Rik, thanks for your informative and interesting posts. I've learnt a lot.
Thought about opening an online book-selling buisiness from the Philippines but i'm unsure of the cost of mailing to the USA and UK?
I'm currently contacting a girl i met online took the hardline with her i will be the boss, i will own you you will ask my permission before you do anything.She accepted this.
I dont have a pension or much in the way of savings.Just a small business that keeps me going here.
Earning a living there is the problem as i don't have your computer skills.

Thanks for writing this blog, its informative and fun to read as well.
I do wonder what might have happened to you since your last post in 2005.
I also wonder why you kept sending the "best woman of all 7800 islands" continually on those dangerous bus trips... Maybe I'm just weird, but I wouldn't send someone I love on those buses, I'd be thinking along the lines of a driver and a bodyguard...
Either way, I hope you're still playing your guitar and are not sitting somewhere on a pirate island.
Would be reassuring if you posted something short, just to say she's still with you, and you're both in good health!
oh I forgot to mention:
you said a few times that you'd appreciate emails, but for the life of me, I can't find an email address anywhere in this blog...
